The company was founded in 1947 as part of "MAVROVOPROEKT" a working unit of GP "MAVROVO". The same in 2004 has been transformed into "PRIMA ENGINEERING" Skopje, and later, in 2007, has been transformed into "PRIMA ENGINEERING" Ltd. - Skopje.
